Platform

 

Advanced Hosting's Public Cloud is a hyper-converged cloud platform built on OpenStack. It is designed to facilitate the creation and scaling of virtual infrastructure, the operation of high-load services, and the management of Kubernetes clusters.

Unlike traditional VPS hosting - separate virtual servers with fixed specifications - with Public Cloud, you're getting a unified cloud infrastructure with dynamic resource allocation. This allows you to independently manage virtual machines, clusters, network settings, load balancers and storage via the control panel and/or API.

The platform is intended for deploying various web applications, containers and services based on them to implement automated and flexibly scalable projects.


Architecture

 

The platform is built on a modern cloud infrastructure and runs on a high-performance solution based on AMD EPYC processors with DDR5 memory and enterprise-grade NVMe drives for production-level workloads.

Your data is stored in a distributed cluster. We triple-replicate it between nodes for max stability and integrity.

Compute

 

You have all the tools you need to create virtual machines of any size and for various tasks: from small projects with 1 vCPU and 2 GB of RAM to high-performance VMs with up to 256 vCPUs and 512 GB of RAM.

The platform supports on-the-fly adjustment of virtual machine configurations, depending on current load and the capabilities of the guest OS.

The platform supports several classes of block storage for various types of workloads - from tasks requiring high performance to optimal storage for archive data and backups.

Network Infrastructure

 

Public Cloud supports private and public networks for virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters, with network isolation between projects.

Security groups are available, allowing access control based on ports, protocols and traffic sources.

Floating IPs are supported for routing external traffic, allowing public addresses to be reassigned on the fly across running virtual machines without any disruption to service.

The network infrastructure also provides virtual routers, NAT (SNAT/DNAT), VPN connections for integration with on-premises and hybrid infrastructures, and load balancers.

The network infrastructure is designed with fault tolerance and high performance in mind, and built-in monitoring allows you to track traffic in real time.


APIs and Automation

 

The platform supports infrastructure management via API and integrates naturally with modern automation tools.

You can create and configure virtual machines, networks, storage, and Kubernetes clusters not only via the web interface but also programmatically using Terraform, Ansible, and other modern tools.

Managed Kubernetes is compatible with standard tools from the Kubernetes ecosystem, including kubectl, Helm and ArgoCD, which simplifies the management of applications and clusters.

This approach allows you to automate infrastructure deployment, accelerate the release of new services, set up CI/CD processes, and manage resources directly via code without manual operations.


Managed Kubernetes

 

Managed Kubernetes is a ready-to-use Kubernetes platform where we, as the provider, take care of the maintenance and management of the cluster’s key components.

You can deploy a Kubernetes cluster in the cloud and focus on your applications without spending time on infrastructure configuration and maintenance.

Clusters can be easily scaled manually or automatically (via Cluster Autoscaler), depending on the type of workload. If necessary, you can add new worker nodes in just a few clicks.

Persistent storage, load balancers and integration with other services in our Public Cloud are available for applications.

The platform is compatible with standard Kubernetes tools, including kubectl, Helm and ArgoCD, which simplifies application deployment and the automation of development processes.

It also readily integrates with monitoring, logging and backup systems, including solutions based on Prometheus and Grafana, so you can monitor the status of your applications and infrastructure in real time.


Backup as a Service

 

Protect your data with built-in backup. Should any issues arise, you can quickly restore your disks or fully deploy a new virtual machine from a backup via the purpose-built control panel or the API.


Management

 

A single control panel for managing virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, networks and storage. Monitor resources, scale your infrastructure and track usage in real time via a web interface or API.

Security

  • Network isolation - each project operates in its own isolated environment. We completely separate your network traffic and resources from those of other platform customers.

  • Built-in anti-spoofing – protection against IP and MAC address spoofing, which helps prevent network attacks and unauthorised access within the infrastructure.

  • Private networks – create your own isolated L2/L3 networks to securely interconnect your virtual machines, containers and internal services.

  • Security groups – a flexible cloud-based firewall. Create access rules based on the IP addresses, protocols and ports.

  • Role-Based Access Control – assign combinations of roles to layer permissions according to users' positions and required access to resources and operations.

  • SSH key integration (cloud-init) - secure your virtual machines using SSH keys instead of passwords, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorised access.

High Availability

  • Infrastructure redundancy – critical components are duplicated to provide uninterrupted service operation.

  • VRRP redundancy – provides automatic failover between routers in the event of a failure.

  • VM auto-restart – virtual machines automatically migrate and restart on other servers in the event of hardware failure.

  • Self-healing – automatic recovery of data replicas in the event of disk or storage node failures.

  • Control plane fault tolerance – databases, APIs and management services are running in a cluster to ensure platform availability.


Pricing and Consumption Model

The Public Cloud operates on a resource consumption model featuring a fixed base package of resources and the ability to scale resources dynamically within a project. Prices start from €30 per month and include a dedicated allocation of compute, storage and networking resources, with the option to consume additional resources on an hourly basis beyond the included limit for an extra charge.

The consumption model allows you to allocate resources between VMs, Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure services yourself, without having to change the project’s architecture.

Most tariffs have a fixed maximum consumption cap for resources exceeding those included in the tariff, ensuring a predictable cost model even during peak loads.

Incoming traffic is provided without restrictions. Outgoing traffic and public IPv4 addresses are included in the resource consumption model and scale alongside the project’s infrastructure.

Managed Kubernetes uses the platform’s standard resource consumption model: control plane and worker nodes are billed as part of the project’s resources without a separate surcharge for premium access. Pricing - Public Cloud [EN]


Geography and Infrastructure

 

The Public Cloud cluster is deployed in Amsterdam, the Netherlands - one of Europe's largest network and infrastructure hubs.

  • The equipment is housed in a Digital Realty data centre with a direct connection to AMS-IX and NL-IX. Access to several international telecoms operators to ensures minimal network latency and high connectivity.

  • The site includes N+1 power and cooling redundancy, network connectivity redundancy, 24/7 physical access control, and infrastructure environment monitoring.

  • The data centre complies with international standards and holds certifications from the industry’s most authoritative organisations, including SOC1, SOC2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 50001 and ISO 22301.

  • Energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources are used for power supply.
