Clipping - Video CDN [EN]
This feature allows you to play only a selected fragment out of a larger video without reprocessing or uploading a separate trimmed file. You can define a clipping interval in seconds (with millisecond precision), and the system will deliver just that portion of the video.
Clipping may return a result both as .mp4 files and as streaming manifests + segments.

If you need to extract more than a single clip, you can use the multi-clipping feature. This allows you to select multiple segments that are then stitched together into a single stream. As a result, the clips are played back seamlessly, transitioning from one to the next without interruptions or any additional user interaction.
Clipping output is provided only as streaming manifests with corresponding segments.
Currently, this feature is supported exclusively for the HLS protocol. DASH manifests are not supported at this time. Keep an eye on our Roadmap for updates.
