Please note that the amount of storage space consumed directly impacts your billing. Usage is calculated based on the total volume of stored data and reflected accordingly in your invoice.

Storage Redundancy

Ensuring reliable storage and high availability of your content, Video CDN imports and maintains at least three copies of each file at geographically distributed locations.

Based on dynamic monitoring, additional copies are created for popular files at the most frequently requested locations, and redundant copies are removed for less popular ones.

In case of a storage drive failure on any server, the system automatically restores the required level of redundancy. Files that are still аvailable at other servers are replicated to replacement servers to ensure continued availability and resilience.

Proactive consistency validation

Data corruption on storage media often happens at the worst possible time — typically when the file is needed. This is because file integrity can only be verified by reading the file, which usually occurs during actual file usage.

To avoid such scenarios, our CDN performs regular checksum validation of stored files. By proactively verifying file integrity in the background, the system can detect and resolve issues before the content is ever requested by the end user.
