Swift object storage - Video CDN [EN]
The OpenStack Object Store, known as Swift, is a cloud storage system designed to store and retrieve large volumes of data using a straightforward API. It is engineered for high scalability and optimized for durability, availability, and concurrent access across massive datasets.
Swift is particularly well-suited for unstructured data storage, where content can grow indefinitely without requiring re-architecture.
The CDN connects directly to your object storage and imports content from it. Import begins by scanning the storage to identify which files need to be imported, based on availability and metadata.
Once the necessary files are detected, the system downloads and processes them — preparing the content for optimized delivery across the CDN network.
