CS for Content Delivery

Our Cloud Storage fully integrates with our Video CDN and Anycast CDN services. In this combination, Cloud Storage acts as a flexible storage system. By using Cloud Storage as the origin*, your actual server is protected while both Cloud Storage and the CDN act as buffers; it reduces direct exposure to user traffic and safeguards your files and data by only serving them through the CDN layer.

*An origin is the source location from which the CDN retrieves and caches content - the backend repository that holds your actual files.

Anycast CDN (Static Content)

  • Uses CDN-type buckets as an origin

  • Ideal for:

    • Images

    • CSS/JS

    • Static websites

  • Benefits:

    • Global edge caching

    • Low-latency delivery

    • High availability

Video CDN (VOD)

  • Uses the same CDN-type buckets

  • Optimized for:

    • Video files

    • Streaming delivery

  • Supports:

    • High throughput

    • Large object delivery

    • Scalable video distribution

Cloud Storage, as an origin, supplies the content that Anycast or Video CDN distributes to your customers, audience, or partners. Depending on the specifics of your project, you can fine-tune CDN configurations and adjust them based on fluctuating factors for every resource.

Each time your content is requested, the CDN will either fetch it from the Cloud Storage bucket or proxy it to serve the request. This setup ensures a streamlined, automated content flow.
