Anycast CDN Locations
An Anycast CDN Location is a set of rules that apply specific delivery settings to matching requests. By default, all traffic inherits pull-zone location configuration unless explicitly overridden.
Location settings utilize HTTP routes, allowing you to apply different rules to different parts of your resource, extending pull zone settings while maintaining its core setup.
Navigate to the Locations tab of the resource page to manage and fine-tune your Anycast CDN locations.
Configuration Modes
In most cases, the Basic mode is sufficient, and it does not require managing routes manually. For more intricate fine-tuning, Extended mode is also available to you in this feature.
Basic Mode (Default)
In this mode no manual location management is required. Any settings you enable apply to all non-system resource locations automatically. Proxy extension settings and Truncate URL parameters can be configured here for your resource. Extended Mode
Use the toggle at the top of the Locations page to switch between Location configuration modes, as depicted below.
Beware: when switching between configuration modes, your previous setup will reset.
In Extended mode, you can:
Access System locations
Add Custom locations
Configure Default locations
Manage If-Modified-Since header handling
