Q1. Can I stay on the old platform?
No, staying on the old platform is not an option.
Websa Cloud will be fully shut down once all migration phases are complete. That's why it's important to plan your migration - or properly wind down your usage - well in advance.
Q2. Can I export my data before shutdown?
Absolutely.
While the service is active, you have full access to your server and can back up any data you need and export it to external storage or another provider.
Make sure to do this before the platform shutdown date.
Q3. I don't want to move to the new cloud. What alternatives do you have?
If you're not planning to use our new cloud infrastructure, an alternative option is a dedicated server.
The key difference from Public Cloud, where we additionally take care of the hypervisor and infrastructure layer, is as follows:
with a dedicated server, you have full control over the machine, but OS and software administration is entirely your responsibility. We only manage the physical hardware, power, and network.
